We believe in transparency, so we wanted to inform you about the state of the PC market.

Prices have surged drastically due to memory shortages—commonly attributed to the rapid expansion of AI datacenters. Components that use memory, such as RAM, SSDs, and GPUs have been heavily affected.

We’ve seen increases of around 300%, 200%, and 20%, respectively. What was once a $90 (RAM) + $130 (SSD) + $530 (GPU) combination is now $380 (RAM) + $390 (SSD) + $670 (GPU), totaling a $690 increase for the exact same performance compared to September ‘25.

This means that, unfortunately, buying a PC has become even more inaccessible. These increases are likely to stay, as AI companies have locked down memory production contracts for the next few years. The situation is volatile, and we do not expect prices to return to normal anytime soon.

We find it upsetting that something we’re so passionate about has become even harder to enjoy, but we’re doing what we can with the cards we’ve been dealt. We’ve undergone several product line redesigns to bring you the best lineup possible, starting with the Z3.

We believe that now it’s more important than ever to be smart with your money. We continue to take great care in component selection, transparency, and quality, so that you’re truly getting your money’s worth.

Thanks for your time.
