Our DOA Policy

We pack our PCs very carefully, but we understand that accidents still happen. If your PC arrives damaged (Damaged On Arrival), contact us within 7 days of delivery so that we can make it right as soon as possible.

To begin the DOA process, email us at support@buildzenithpc.com.

DOA Solutions

A DOA claim will have 4 possible solutions, all 100% free of charge. Our only requirement is that you please work with us to provide photo/video evidence of the damage so that we can submit a claim with our shipping insurer.

1. Simple Swap (quickest and easiest)

If you have damage to a simple plug-and-play part (like a GPU, fan, side panel), we’ll ask that you document the damage and contact us. We will then email you a prepaid shipping label so you can drop it off at a nearby UPS store. Once we are notified that the damaged part has shipped, we will in turn mail you the replacement component. If the part is on the cheaper side (like a cable or fan), we may just send you the part immediately and have you discard the old one.

After your replacement component has arrived, we will provide instructions on how to install the new one.

2. Complex Repair (full-service repair)

If the damaged component is a more complex one (like a motherboard or PSU), we’ll have you ship us your damaged computer instead. This process will require that you remove your GPU. It is a simple process that will only require a screwdriver and 5 minutes of your time, and we will provide instructions. The removal of the GPU is necessary due to the risk of damage when in transit, especially because we don’t know how UPS will package it. If the GPU is not damaged, you may hang onto it while your PC is repaired.

Like before, we will email you a prepaid shipping label so you can drop it off at a nearby UPS store. Once we receive your computer, we’ll make the repair and ship it back to you as soon as possible.

3. Catastrophic Loss (total replacement)

If the package/PC arrives looking like it’s been hit by a bus, we will send you an entirely new replacement. In this scenario, we recommend you carefully inspect the PC and it’s packaging. If it is severely damaged, please do not plug it in and do not throw any packaging away. We will ask you to thoroughly document the damage and repackage it as it came (as best as you can).

After you contact us, we’ll then send you a prepaid shipping label so you can mail the whole thing back. Like in the simple swap, we will mail you the replacement as soon as the damaged PC ships.

4. Lost in Transit

In the event that the PC gets lost in transit, we will also send you a new PC as soon as we are able. This may take a little longer due to us having to wait until the package is declared lost. As soon as that occurs, we will immediately mail you another PC.

In this scenario, you may be asked to confirm you never received the original package, but you will likely not need to do anything else.
